Just to clarify... crossfading is indeed the act of fading one song down while fading another one in over top of it. Auto-crossfading is what iPods do and it cuts off important stuff at the beginning and end of songs.

That's terrible. I could understand it maybe if it was used with any other band, but not the Floyd machine. They do the best fading themselves.
