The voice before In The Flesh Pt II starts

Hi, I'm sorry if this has been "discussed to death" but I did search and found nothing. If it has I will simply offer 'n00b' as my pathetic excuse and await your derision.

As the subject says, just before the song starts a voice shouts something indistinguishable (to me) which if I had to spell it, which I do, I would do so (in english) something like:-

'oooooh ragaaaars'

I presume it's a foreign language, probably german, but I'm guessing.

Such a tiny, insignificant question prompted by.the Roger Waters KAOS tour. Shortly after he came on stage, just before he was about to start singing, somebody from the audience screamed this out, which I thought was brilliant and hilarious. Since then I've always wondered what the hell is being said. I estimate about 16 years (1988 or thereabouts without getting up from this comfy seat) of wondering and asking the occasional fan. (as in occasionally asking rather than a person who is occasionally a fan )

Can anyone help this haunted soul?

PS. right forum?

He's saying "OOH! TIGERS!"

Roy sang that one with him.

Seriously though, it might be something in German.

I think it might just be a random yell. during In the Flesh he says "ein, svei, drei, alle!" and as far as I know, "alle" would be "to go" in french, but maybe im just rambling on, and on, and on....

No, aller is to go in French And why would he switch from German to French all of a sudden? And when he says "alle" it sounds like he says "all-a" or something, it doesn't sound like alle really, I think it's German.

The count-in is clearer on the In The Flesh DVD documentary:

"Ein... Zwei... Drei... Agga"

whatever that means

I believe the german spoken at the beginning of Waiting For The Worms translates into: "one, two, three, everyone"

As far as the In The Flesh shout goes, I'm as stumped as you are.

Who cares so long as it sound tough? In The Flesh is such an aggressive song anyhow; I'd hate to be a queer Jew with spots and a marijuana addiction...

Well what if you want to sing along to it, wouldn't you sound pretty ridiculous just yelling: ooooooh raaaaaa...

Just a little side note, there is no In The Flesh pt.2 -- There is In The Flesh? and then there is In The Flesh.

If you were a queer jew with spots, I'm sure you'd have a marijuana addiction too; it takes away the pain, man.
