I love the video to Radiohead's street spirit...not only do I feel that this is the greatest song of all time but also the greatest vid!

Peter Gabriel has made some good ones too.

Occasionally i've seen an arty vid i liked that was just nice to watch, like for e.g. vids for electronic music
I get you... Ha, my current favourite video is the one for Ch-Check It Out. It's great to see the Beastie Boys again. I just like watching them run around on the tv.

I saw you dig some Bjork, I love her videos. They're so articulate.

As for Avril, I kind of dig her version of Knockin' On Heaven's Door, I'd say it's worth a download.

I wouldn't mind hearing that.

I saw a music video where Avril was covering a Metallica song. I have to admit, she did a pretty good James Hetfield. Oh, and Hetfield, Ulrich and Hammett were in the audience and cheering like mad. Strange.

Of course they were cheering..can you even begin to calculate the royalties she's paying them?

I'm sure Ulrich was busy figuring it out on his pocket calculator.

Well, he has to be able to do something for the band, he sure as hell can't drum.

#1. Nirvana moved to a bigger label because their old label (Sub Pop) basically went bankrupt. They couldn't afford to promote Nirvana or even record another album. Kurt did what he had to do in order to continue making albums.

#2. Kurt never talked to MTV about anything. They had no idea their album was even selling decent(they were on a euro tour). He hated the song and once again, did not request that it be played more on MTV or the radio.

Thanks for playing, but you are quite clueless.
#1. I'm sure there were other indie labels who would have loved to have had Nirvana on their roster, Touch 'n' Go, Alternative Tentacles, etc.
#2. I'm probably wrong about that, yeah. Thanks for pointing that out, I was only trying to get a corner up on this brittbratt person.

I appreciate your sincerity, really, but Kurt, like a lot of us, wanted to be famous. This can be seen in Journals, I'll pull examples out for you if you wish. Not that wanting to be famous is a bad thing... Kurt just had to find out the hard way that fame isn't so good. I'm not being defensive. Friends?
