Your First Guitar Solo

Hi People...

This is to ask everyone who play guitar about their first guitar solo...

Just wanted to know about the first guitar solo you played and how it felt...

My first guitar solo was from 'Out of my Head' - 'FastBall'... the little solo they play in the end of that song... and it felt awesome so know that i cud play it... its an easy tune to play but slightly confusing to remember.

What about you all????

p.s - IM really really sorry if this topic is already done... i searched but didn't find any...

Thanks.

Ady

My first guitar solo was, I'm proud to say, Shine On. I was rather pleased with myself, to say the least.

It felt bloody great - I turned on the Pulse version, and turned the volume all the way up, and played along. It felt bloody amazing.

The first solo I ever "mastered" was 'Joy to the World' by Three Dog Night.

But.. The first solo I ever played in front of an audience (about 50 people at a summer party in H.S.) was.......Time....

Yes, I got lucky that night.

I learned the solo from Nothing Else Matters at the same time as I learned the solo from Paranoid...

As Metallica solos go it's pretty easy (seeing as Hetfield plays it), but it still sounds great!

Shine On here also, all three and the rest of the song as well.

Never played in front of anyone, but I wish!

Hmmm i know... a lot of people also do argue that playing PF is relatively easy... but what i like about it is not how tough it is to play... but how creative the solo gets... i mean... look at it... is there any other BDGs in this world that we know of...

Well... cheers...

ADY...

p.s - I'm the same dude... had to re-register due to some problem...

Money is an amazing song to play... you can manupulate with the lead in a fantastic way... atleast most of the times... and its so easy to recover from a mistake on that solo... Love it too... still play it all the time...

Cheers!!!

First Solo: Wish You Were Here

First Preformance Solo: In The Flesh? ( The first part. I was in school you sick bastard!)

It's not really a solo with a bunch of fast notes and awkward facial expressions, but I was playing and nobody was singing.... Close enough....

I think it's the solo in 'More Than A Feeling' by Boston.
