Animals and TDB about as botherly as Nelson Mandella and Ronald Regan. Both were leaders in their own right...but one is black and the other white. And that even rhymes!!!

TBD is a little closer to WYWH in my opinion.

To be honest I don't care what everyone thinks of my comparison, its my opinion. I just think that Animals and TDB do not go together. I cannot see the link.

Well, the more i think about it animals and tdb do have a bit of the same sound, but I wouldn't say enough closeness to call them brother albums. I usually think of brother albums as albums realsed back to back, that have material that was generally written around the same time, both albums usally share the same concepts, sound, the lyrics typically touch on the same issues, if anyone is a beastie boys fan it is said that Check your head and Ill communication are brother albums.

What about Marooned?! Can't forget Marooned!

Me. I find myself listening to San Tropez the most out of Meddle. Seamus, wasn't my favorite when I first got the album. But I'm growing quite fond of it lately. One of These Days, is actually my favorite track on that album now.

It was Rick Wright.

On to the topic: I don't get the question.

I've never heard anyone say that myself but you have me thinking now...
Animals is my fav Floyd album, and i play Division bell pretty much as much as Animals.
Love Division bell, especially Poles apart and take it back.
Interesting.....

I've always connected dark Side with Wish You
Probably that's because that's what my brother used to play 24/7 when i was about 6 years old
