You must be crazy johnny. Comfortably Numb holds deep importance in its lyrics. Its about being lonely and isolated from the rest of the world, kind of like your opinions on one of Pink Floyd's greatest songs. Thats not the best part of the song though. It's arguably, David Gilmour's shining guitar solo in the last minute and a half of the song that makes it really epic. His range and progression is incredible.

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, but in this case, I think you're stranded. On Jupiter.

Floyd's worst song: hmmm....... probably When the tigers broke free. Not only is it a fine example of arrogance by Roger Waters, because he so blatantly expresses his sorry ass feelings, but there are almost no instruments in the background. It is his one of his many selfish solos. They should have labeled The Final Cut...... Roger Waters: The Final Cut ft. Dave Gilmour and Nick Mason.
However, not every song on the album is bad. I think that Your Possible pasts is seriously overlooked. One of the few songs where there is good production and instruments.

i agree that the song is great. but to be frank there wasnt much importance in the lyrics, because roger basically didnt want it on the album. it took him about a half hour to compose lyrics. the only reason it made it onto the album is because dave suggested it to roger and he didnt want to put it on, but rick and nick threatened to walk if he didnt.
thank you.

p.s. dogs of war is a good song.

bike is a pretty odd song if u listen to the lyrics.
that goes for my oddest song

to add on, ( to recap, rather )

comfortably numb was just an instrumental.
roger hated it.
he didnt want it on the CD.
nick n rick threatened to walk
roger regretfully wrote lyrics for a half hour
what a masterpiece considering the circumstances

Yeah, I really don't like The Dogs of War. Those drum machines are TERRIBLE.

what's this about roger hating comfortably numb? i've read four or five bios, and this is the first i've heard of this. are you just yanking our collective chains, or are you privy to some inside info i don't know about? BTW, dogs of war just might be the worst song ever written...

Yeah and why would Roger be intimidated by Rick and Nick threatening to "walk"? Didn't Roger basically force Rick out and all but ignore Nick during the sessions? Sounds like bullshit to me.

I didn't really care that much for Division Bell. Only songs I like outta it was poles apart and that one where they say "and they tell me to please go **** myself" Don't know the name of it.

And to scare you guys more. A friend of my dads gave me the CD and it was scratched up bad because they threw it around. No really they threw it to each other.

im sorry to say that my least favorite pink floyd song is when dave sings the verses of confortably numb on pulse. the rest of the song is great, but the verses are not too comfortable to listen to

That would be Lost For Words, my least favourite song ever.
