To my mind, there are 5 really decent songs on More. Which probably means that one of the others on that album would have to be my own personal candidates for 'worst song'

It really strains my eyes to even look at this thread, but I'd hafto say the Pink Floyd song I dislike the most would be "Welcome To The Machine" it is a good song, I just can't seem to sit and listen to it for longer than 2 seconds before getting bored.

But I don't say it's the worst, in my opinion there is no worst Pink Floyd song

Well... the experiments like "A New Machine" or "A Spanish Piece" (Gilmour, Tequila is a typical Mexican drink, not a Spanish one...

) are obvious candidates for worst songs. Apart from them I find "Free Four", "The Scarecrow", "On the Turning Away" (too much airplay back in '87?) and "A Great Day for Freedom" (because of its similarity with OtTA) either annoying ("The Scarecrow") or cheesy (OtTA).

I'm not as initiated a fan as you guys are, so I only really know DSotM, Animals, and WYWH.

II absolutely love every track on these three albums, with the strong exception of On the Run. I try to listen to it, but always wind up skipping it. It just rubs me the wrong way.

hey, i like MLoR. since im not old enough to have been even thought of when Waters left, i have a more limited selection. and if you can alow people to like an era of a band because the person you like left, then dont tell them "ohh this whole group of albums is bad because whatevers not there."

and to keep the thread going, i reallly dont like Mother on the Wall(2?)
