1. sadly Shane is right about that 2. When I bought a copy of Roger's Live in Berlin, it came with a book by Phil Rose titled "Which One's Pink?". Its a book about Floyd's concept albums, and it says what the songs mean. Its quite a good book and it's given me some insight as to the mindset of the band.

If you want the closest thing to the movie soundtrack I sugest gettin Is There Anybody Out There? The Wall Live 1980-81 which has all of the songs in the movie (except When The Tigers Broke Free) plus Hey You which was a shocking ommision from the movie, they are all in full version as opposed to the sometimes clipped album. It is worth noting that the album is only shortened due to the restaraints of LPs which lead to cuts such as What Shall We Do Now?

Which One's Pink? is a nice look by the author at the albums, but I highly doubt the band was thinking about all of those interpretations while composing, especially the music theory. They don't care if that chord sequence evokes isolation, it just sounds good. Funny read. A lot like Frank Zappa's Negative Dialectics of Poodle Play, but for Floyd.

Luckily, Bob Geldolf's version of ITF never made it to official release. The only thing the movie's music has over the album's is WSWDN?, but you can always get ITAOT... Sorry, can't help ya with that second one...though getting a book on the Floyd has been something I've been wanting to look into.

#1: No clue, but I guess you could copy the music from the dvd to a cd, but that'd be illegal #2: I have Pink Floyd: In the Flesh. It's really good and has lots of pictures.

Out through the night and the whispering breezes to the place where they keep the imaginary diseases (insane guitar spewage) Darn, now I have to listen to that again. (thanks a lot guys, now I'm a full-fledged Zappa fanatic! I did a presentation on him in school and got a 96%! higher than any of my friends did)

Yes, it is Bob singing and it's actually not that bad, although it does kind of look like a voiceover, I always thought that was pretty funny.
