Ryan Adams,Tindersticks, Jack, Nick Drake, Fred Neil, Scott Walker, Jacques Brel,Joy Division, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Clapton, Cream, The Doors, Tim Hardin, Jeff Beck, Moby Grape, Skip Spence, The Move, Kevin Ayers, Mercury Rev, Six By Seven, The Youngbloods, The Open Mind, The Who, Free, Deep Purple, Bert Jansch, John Renbourn, Davey Graham, Jackson C Frank,The Nice, The Moody Blues, Don McLean, BB King, Rolling Stones..and many more besides..but no-one is as great as Floyd!

Sigma 6, The T-Set, The Meggadeaths, The Architectural Abdabs, The Screaming Abdabs and Pink Floyd.

These bands will make your bands look like retarted champanzes holding guitars and yelling some gestures.

Anyways, on the serious tip.

I like some Dire Straits, Sigur Ros, Mugwai, Enigma, RadioHead, Nine.Inch.Nails, REM and Scorpions.

Now and then bands I'd listen to SMOKIE (Chris Norman band, I'm sure you have heard), Status Quo, The Police.
