Re: syd's contribution to "saucers"

Okay. According to wkipedia:

Let There Be More Light: Rick sings the softer-sounding vocals. While David sings the chorus.

Remember A Day: Rick sings it all.

Set The Controls: Waters.

Clegg: Gilmour sings most of it. With Nick Mason on some lines. "He won it in.....", "In orange, red and blue....", and so on....

See-Saw: Wright

Jugband: Syd

Roger is singing those lines, not Nicky.

Re: syd's contribution to "saucers"

Hey, I remember this thread from like 4 years ago. Hey Botley, wattup?! This is sort of a little reunion of this thread, I guess.

I have officially decided that I sang on EVERY song on Saucerful of Secrets... well, I sang along with it last night anyways.

Hello Unabeefer, how have you been?

I've been listening to the original mono mix of Saucerful on my iPod a lot lately, and several of the tracks ("Jugband" and "Clegg" in particular) sound a lot better in that form. They really should have put a deluxe box set together for the 40th anniversary this year, just like the one Piper got.

Re: syd's contribution to "saucers"

I am surely hoping they continue with those special editiony things. That 3 disc of Piper is magical.

I have been listening to anything and everything I can in surround sound. I bought a new receiver and speaker set, so I am having WAY too much fun with Pro Logic.

Mono doesn't translate well through Pro Logic, btw. =O)
