Music help?

My grandpa died todayand i was really close to him. so i was really sad. I listened to the final cut and it seemed to help me feel better so i was wondering has anyone else had similar expirence where music has helped u feel better over a loss of a family member or friend?

as a muzik freak i turn to it for many diff reasons.thru the bad times it can be very therapeutic.

I borrowed and burned my copy of Dark Side of the Moon from a guy named Peter that I went to school with. It was the first Floyd album I had ever heard, seen, etc. It single-handedly turned me on to Floyd.

Two years later he died of lukemia..... DSotM got me through the shock.
