Good old Nick Mason

This thread doesn't really fit in this topic but I was just wondering what songs did the great drummer compose? Make up, invent whatever you want to call it. I'm sure there are more but the only ones that come to my head are Up the Khyber from More and The Grand Viser's Party from Ummagumma. Excellent songs the both. But there is more right..........?

What do you mean......interesting?

No he's not dead, but we haven't heard from him since when, PULSE?? He's not dead------>exactly. NONE of them are dead! Not even Syd, that is a perfect reason for them to get back together. Could you imagine, a 2005/2006 Floyd album featuring Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Nick Mason, Richard Wright, and Syd Barrett all one one album!! That would be great, but they better not hold off too long because they may not be around for a while, remember they were born in the 1940's.

Yes, he was a great drummer. Meaning that he got the job done plus some. Just take a look at "Live at Pompeii". He's not the most technical drummer. Very simple really.

One of the best? Nah.

I'd take Mitch Mitchell or Keith Moon over him anyday.

Anyone that can drum all the way through Atom Heart Mother without sounding like a complete fool is alright in my book.

Yes, I must say, being a drummer myself, that nick mason has a technique that is unmistakable. Not only that but he is 1/4 of pink floyd which automatically makes him a genius. He stuck with pf all the way......and was awesome at Pompeii.

Nick Mason drumming gets me all hot and bothered.

Sorry had to get that out

He is one of the best, maybe not the best, but I could sit and listen to him drum for hours
