more spomtaneous rambling

with guards on all sides
watching
and nights shorter than breaths
we try to deseminate and
chose
our battles.
and when the perception of
failure becomes our only
friend
we gather our wits and
try again.
it is only when we try
no more
that we fail.
and when we fail
we chose that fate.
an everlasting luster
can only be maintained by
relentless polishing
and the well only provides water
for those willing to draw it up.
