Smile I can Play TIME! I am so happy!

I am new here. Since i was thirteen, living in Guadalajara, MExico I have dreamed of playing the guitar. Well, my mom got me lessons at age 14 but my instructor never got a note out of me. When I turned 21 I bought my first guitar. A cheap washburn and got nothing. Well after watching the DSOTM dvd I can play TIME. That and a tab book. I also bought a cheap Squire Strat.

I know I am an amateur, but I get the chills when I hear myself playing the solo.

OK, a few sites where I found interesting info about Gilmour's guitar equipment:

This is the first I found about the strings he uses:

http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/8157/dggear.html

Go here for a list of guitars and equipment used on The Wall tour:

http://richardmahon.8m.com/ggg0003.htm

This one is good for all sorts of Gilmour guitar stuff:

http://www.guitarsite.com/database/Guitars/rec/152/

Interview with Phil Taylor (see the credits in the Pulse booklet if you don't know who he is ):

http://www.pink-floyd.org/artint/dagear.htm

(This interview is where the Geocities website article above gets its information from I believe).

That should keep you going for now.
