The White Stripes

I did a search(you are so very welcome Byron)and couldn't find a topic on these guys, so.............

Who here digs them?

I bought "Elephant" when it first came out and was blown away by it. I finally bought "White Blood Cells" and found it to be brilliant as well. I am completely hooked now.

Discuss.

Hmm, that just shows the inaccuracy of the search engine.

Re: The White Stripes

Anyway, I like them. I have Elephand and De Stijl. Both great albums. I also have a poster of them, which can be seen in the background of a lot of pictures i take.

Re: The White Stripes

Does anyone know why they called there album 'De stijl'. Because that is Dutch for 'The Style'.

Re: The White Stripes

My dad bought Elephant for Christmas, and after listening to it, I really only truly like the two big ones that everyone knows: Seven Nation Army and The Hardest Button to Button. I believe that Mr White is a superb guitarist, but those are the only 2 that struck that chord within me.

Re: The White Stripes

Not too much credit is given to their first album, which is a great one. Very.... I dunno, 'honest'.

Anyway, I've got all of their albums, and they're all superb.
