Well, to have extras for emergencies, sure, but I'm cheap--$125?

yeah sometimes its just cool to own it. i didn't really have to buy echoes but i bought it so i could put it in my collection and make it more complete. and for the artwork too.

Different tastes, different ways of fandom I guess.

I find the "San Tropez" one Roger's (uncharacteristically) most pleasant and relaxed, natural songs.

I'd be inclined to agree with that. It is very catchy and laid-back and I can listen to it without having having to cut it short at least.

It should have been included in Echoes as well as:

Run Like Hell(my personal favourite!)
In The Flesh pt 2
Waiting For The Worms(perfect for releasing tension, I find)
Fearless
On The Turning Away
Terminal Frost

I could go on but these are the main ones. I think my entire choice could make a whole CD at this rate, so I think I'll stop here!

That is in one of my favorites. I like it better than Echoes, even.

I'm thinkin', why didn't they just not make any Pink Floyd "best of" :P

Re: Echoes: Best of Pink Floyd

Thert is a general feeling that Sorrow should not have been in the album but its my second favourite, shows that we all have different tastes.

Re: Echoes: Best of Pink Floyd

Something from OBC and AHM should have been included. Some of the choices for Echoes baffle me.
