| Re: One Of These Days I'm Going To Cut You Into Little Pieces Strange, but somehow One Of These Days... always had some ...mmm...emotional connection to CWTAE for me. Prolly it's all about the title, because musically there is not a lot of similarity. But strange to see that someone thinks alike.

True. The DJ was Jimmy Young of BBC. I have a couple of early alternate studio versions of the song where you can actually hear at the beginning a sort of "medley" of this Jimmy Young speech ant then the song starts with Nick's voice "one of these days..."

| Re: One Of These Days I'm Going To Cut You Into Little Pieces Hmmm...that's funny, because I have a Live version of Raving and Drooling (Pink Floyd - Black Holes in the Sky (disc 1) - Raving and Drooling.mp3 is the filename) with an interminably long monologue of Jimmy Young. I suspect it was a recording of the DJ rather than him appearing Live as well. Funny.
