Colorado's the state I grew up in. It is a terrific place - lots to do, great people and weather. Just got back last week from a visit out there (my family is still out there). Took the kids camping and on the train to the top of Pike's Peak. Fun times.

Yup - there are several rivers in CO that have great white water rafting. You can also go white water rafting on the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon in Arizona. Haven't done that yet, but it's on my list...

Many western mountain states offer rafting, Colorado being one. There are great rivers to be had in Colorado. Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Wyoming, Montana, But the best by far is Idaho.
