Is there a limit to available time/amount of performers? Well, I'll just stick close to yours. I'd have '73 David Bowie open for '74 Genesis, then have a good healthy set of The Who ('75 also), with a phenominal closing set by '74 Floyd. Sounds like a rockin good time.

When I saw the topic was "fantasy billing" i was thinking of something completely different. My was visualizing being buried up to my neck in credit card and various utility bills with a lady dressed in leather screaming at me through a megaphone in a fake german accent yelling "PAY ME!!! YOU ARE OVERDUE!"

I don't have the energy to do this. Post 2000 is a lazy one.

I'd have '73 King Crimson open up, followed by '96 Who (showcasing their excellent Quadrophenia extravaganza) then a cool off with '73 Captain Beefheart, and if they still liked each other then, '73 Zappa would join soon after. Then '77 Pink Floyd would end the evening, hopefully fireworks-free and everyone's faces dry from Roger's angst-filled saliva.
