Thumbs down Echoes....sorry if this is a repeat

Ok I was just wondering on their greatest hits album does anyone know why Jugband Blues is on there? It is good lyrically but I don't really care for it. There are so many more Floyd songs they could have put on there! Thanks.

I thought Jugband Blues was a good addition because it was a good document to represent the shaky period when that song was recorded. Without it, there wouldn't be a transition between the happy-hippie-psychedelic Floyd and the platinum-selling-progressive-rock-gods that they would become!

Or else a way to get Barrett to make money?
Does anybody know whom those royalties went to?

Hm, interesting concept Doctor. I've begun to see the light.....actually I was listening to that song and I kinda like the orchestra part in the middle, in fact, it kicks ass!

The video is rather creepy, as Syd barely does nothing but move his mouth incoherently and has a stare that could burn a hole through your skull!
But seeing Roger try to play a tuba is hilarious!

It's actually an army band playing the middle part.
