Some of them are, but they are mostly used. I haven't checked in a while though.

Re: Rank the works of Radiohead.

My favourite band are Radiohead

1)Ok Computer - Brilliant from start to finish, has great guitars, good lyrics & some nice slow songs aswell

Best 3 songs

1)Karma Police
2)No Suprises
3)Paranoid Android

Album Rating = 9/10

2)The Bends - Almost as brilliant as Ok comp but not quite, just an album full of great tunes

Best 3 Songs

1)Fake Plastic Trees
2)Street Spirit
3)Just

Album Rating = 9/10

3)Kid A - At first i was thinking WTF have they done this is wierd shit but after a few listens it grew on me like nothing else has before, some tracks are really relaxing, while others have so much enery in them, just a great sounding album(esp on Headphones)

Best 3 Songs

1)Idioteque
2)Everything in its right Place
3)Optimistic

Album Rating = 8.5/10

4)Hail to the Thief - Many great tracks on here but i feel a couple of them could of been left off(We suck Young blood & Gloaming), very good album overall but not as great as a whole as the other 3

Best 3 songs
1)2+2=5
2)Wolf at the Door
3)There There

Album rating = 8/10

5)Amnesiac - For a while i actually prfered this to Kid A but now i feel the standout tracks on here & as good as Kid A & that album also flows better, some great tracks on here still

Best 3 songs

1)Pyramid Song
2)You & Who`s Army?
3)Packed like Sardines

Album Rating = 7.5/10

I cant even remember most of Pablo Honey

Re: Rank the works of Radiohead.

I only have HTTT, OK Computer, and Kid A. I would rank them

OK Computer
Kid A
Hail To The Thief

2+2=5 and a wolf at the door are both awesome but i think there are a lot of weak songs on the album as well. Ok Computer is brilliant and I never get bored listening to Kid A.

I can't believe NO ONE has mentioned the song Morning Bell. That's my favorite one from Kid A.

Re: Rank the works of Radiohead.

I haven't heard much Radiohead... I've heard the album "OK Computer" and their cover of Wish You Were Here. The cover was just horrible, but OK Computer wasn't too bad. A solidly average band, I would say, though I might be missing the boat. All of my friends love Radiohead, but I don't think they're anything special. Just my two cents.

You might want to get Kid A hbbtstar, you might like it more than Ok Computer.

Another victim of the information age.

Radiohead never covered Wish You Were Here.

Thom sang on Sparklehorse's cover of Wish You Were Here.

Re: Rank the works of Radiohead.

Radiohead is a band that you can't really get to like with the first few listens. "Ok Computer" (by first Radiohead album) took about 5 listens before I decided I really liked it. Give them another listen.

And now that I've gotten all of their albums, except their first, I can rank them now:

1. "OK Computer"...very brilliant, their best by far. Great in everyway.
2. "The Bends"...not their most original, but very rocking. Great tunes.
3. "Amnesiac"...Oddly enough, it has a very solid feel to it. Some very excellent songs, but some other so-so tracks.
4. "Kid A"...even though it's #4, I still love it. It just gives me this hollow vibe...doesn't seem as colorful or vibrant as their other works.
5. "HTTT"...Not very fond of this album at all...

Re: Rank the works of Radiohead.

Pablo Honey- listened to it a couple of times, was OK, would probably listen to it again, round at some bird's house if she wanted to put it on

The Bends- I went through a period of erectile dysfunction and vividly remember sitting in an ex's flat when we should have been getting down to it and hearing the line "you just sit there wishing you could still make love" and anything that I could have achieved with my broken compass went straight out of the window. 3/4s of an hour later, when we potentially could have been getting down to at least 'something,' the album had simply been replayed and, yep, along came that ****ing line again. That is all I have to say about that ****ing LP

OK Computer- I skip a couple of tracks after 'Fitter happier'

Kid A- Actually brilliant and a brave step from a band who could have become U2 by accident

Amnesiac- I don't really dig this as it's quite self conscious and a bit shit, frankly. Not enough quality control

The Other One- Bought out of habit, no real redeeming qualities. Stop running away from yourselves, guys

I bought OK Computer based on the ravings of everyone here... I could barely get through it..

Have not listened to anything else.. probably won't.

Re: Rank the works of Radiohead.

Now That I have all the albums I can do this properly.

OK Computer
The first Radiohead album I owned, and the best. This album is pretty much perfect, there's only one song I don't dig that much (Let Down). This CD is probably better than DSotM (IMHO). Favorite songs..Paranoid Android, Karma Police, Subterranean Homesick Alien, The Tourist

The Bends
I love the guitar work on this album. It's got the guitar-rocking feel of Pablo Honey, but you can tell they're getting more experimental. A helluva lot more unique than Pablo Honey, but not as unique as OKC. Favorite songs...
The Bends, Fake Plastic Trees, My Iron Lung, Street Spirit (Fade Out)

Hail to the Thief
I think Radiohead is getting back on track with this one. Kid A and Amnesiac are good, but they're getting back to more guitar stuff. It still maintains that electronic element of the previous two albums, but there's a lot more OKCish songs. Favorites...
2+2=5, Sail to the Moon, I Will, Wolf at the Door

Kid A
The album they made so that less people would like them...and I think that's what's most appealing about it. It is a great album nonetheless. But sometimes it can get too repetitive, i.e. Ideoteque. A lot of people think this album defines Radiohead, but I think it was just an experiment. Favorite songs...
Everything in it's Right Place, The National Anthem, Morning Bell

Amnesiac
This is a good CD, sounds a lot like Kid A. It's not as tight as Kid A. It's a lot more atmospheric and doesn't sound as compressed. This can be good (Pyramid Song), and it can be terrible (Morning Bell/Amnesiac). Favorite songs...
Pyramid Song, Like Spinning Plates

Pablo Honey
A great 90's Alt. Rock album. Nothing more, nothing less. Favorite songs...
Creep, You

Old thread, but I just completed my collection of full length albums so I had to do this.

Love that song, Best on OK Computer for me!

Love The Bends and Ok Computer,Like 3 songs on Pablo Honey (Creep, Anyone Can Play Guitar and Stop Whispering), Not Much time time for anything else they've done though, hated Kid A and Hail to the thief.
