How does one become a moderator?

I would love to become one. First, I would delete every single post that was not of my liking. Then I would use my high position to patronize and annoy everyone.

Now that it is clear that I will NEVER be a MODERATOR, I would like to know how one is born.

Just wondering.

Uh, you have to be the ultimate kiss-ass to the currently existing mods. Then when they leave, the position will be handed to you. i.e. Bride of a Bull - Fixxy, PearlWaters - Sydney.
