Aerosmith stole Floyd's music

Ok maybe not, BUT if you listen to careful with that axe eugene from ummagumma right after roger Screams, Gilmour plays a riff that resembles the intro and most of Living on the edge.

Seriously. Kind of like Echoes versus Phantom of the opera by Lloyd Webber.

Early Aersomith was awesome, but as soon as they cleaned themselves up and found MTV, they lost that spark, if you ask me. Permanent Vacation is a fine album though.

Honkin' On Bobo is an inexcusable atrocity against mankind

Is it really that bad? I heard a few tracks off it in the pub and they sounded ok...

I don't think it's bad at all, the version of the songs sounds good on Honkin on bobo, and the new song by them is very good too, but it's just a blues covers album, it's not very interesting to me.
Anyway, I think Aerosmith is great, I know they became a bit more comercial and i don't like that they let outside songwriters in their songs since Permanent Vacation, but their albums from the 70's are great, and there are lots of great songs on newer albums too.

Andrew Lloyd Webber is a dirty plagerizer, but I'm pretty sure he didn't rip off Echoes. If it's the part I'm thinking of, it's just a short chromatic scale, the building blocks of Western music, ya can't avoid it!

I think Tyler's overthrown Jagger in that department! Well, actually Peter Frampton threw Tyler in the Sgt. Pepper movie, but before that Tyler took the crown for having the most creepiest mouth.
