Velvet Revolver

Anyone else like these guys? The album is mediocre. It sounds like Stone Temple Pilots with better guitar solos. The best songs on the album are "Headspace", "Slither", and "Do It For The Kids".

i haven't heard a lot of them.. but I did hear Slither. It seemed to me like it was too hard rock for them. I don't know. I guess I'm still stuck on "November Rain"

I actually kinda liked their version of money when i heard it at italian job. It wasn't as horrible as all those other Floyd covers you may hear.

The album is horribly produced and most of the songs are mangled because of it, slash's solos are rushed, fast and sound just a notch above a godsmack solo, first album mistakes, i think they'll right the ship on their next effort. don't knock slash, he can lay down some of the greatest solos you'll ever hear.

It's an "average" album. I must admit I was pretty disapointed when I first heard it. I was expecting something more. I agree with Zem that the album sound quality reminds me of something I recorded on my home PC. They need to fire their producer and get someone else.

Yeah. I'd give it a 6. But there are some songs on there I dig. I was a bit disappointed as well. But, it's better than a lot of mainstream crap out there.

No, don't bother. Not only is it a bad movie, but it has a bad cover of "Money" in it. Save yourself a few bucks and just bang your head into the nearest wall.
