Sometimes I like AMLOR, sometimes TFC. Each album has it`s low points - A New Machine on AMLOR and Paranoid Eyes, Southampton Dock on TFC. TFC would be a great Waters solo album, as a Floyd album it doesn`t sound that good, too much Waters, less Pink Floyd. AMLOR is too filled with big-stadium sound, especially on drums. Well, today I wote for AMLOR

I too also like the Final cut despite it in fact being basically a Roger Waters solo album although you could also level that comment at the wall.

Final cut, far more personal than Lapse. But Lapse is still good, there is some great soundscapes in there.

Two very different things really but for me AMLOR is much colder and TFC has got more soul to it. But it also depends on the mood you are, TFC is deafinetely not the album to play at parties!

I love both of them. the final cut is a very emotional experience, and i just adore the sax solo at the end of two suns in the sunset, so melancholy. momentary lapse on the other hand, is a more musical experience, better insturmentation. i love on the turning away, that song saves the album from being second to final cut

that's a hard question... they're both really good. I guess it depends whether I'm in a Rog or Dave mood

Momentary Lapse of Reason, for me, it's got a few classics on while Final cut doesn't have much to offer.
