Unfortunately the MFSL Atom Heart Mother gold disc isn't quite as good as the EMI remaster... they must have used a later generation, as there are more flaws in the tape and a LOT more hiss. MFSL, God bless them, sometimes just do not have the resources to get the first-generation tapes, but when they do the results are terrific.

Speaking of re-remastering, has anyone heard the new remaster of The Final Cut (or has it even been released yet)? I heard James Guthrie has done some of or all the remastering, and it's supposed to include "When the Tigers Broke Free."
See, I guess someone DID consider releasing a back catalog item with "bonus" material!

But seriously, has anyone heard it or has it been released and if not when?
