at the very end of the song, when they're repeating the "queen of all my dreams" part I SWEAR a voice says "syd". you have to listen real carefully out of only one speaker, or else it'll sound like the word dreams fading out, but it is definately "ssssyyydddd..." anybody else notice this, or am i crazy?

no, i'm not. it's right before the fadeout. unplug one of your speakers and turn the bass down. trust me. this is the same band that wrote THREE concept albums about syd (DSOM, WYWH, WALL), as well as the hidden message in the wall. waters has claimed the song was a conscious attempt to write like him, it's the first tune gilmour sang with the group; they were obviously having some fun. i swear. oh fine, don't believe me. what do i care?

Or DSOTM. I think you are mistaken about this. But to comment on the Ssssssssssyyyyyyyd issue, I think they say Ssssiiiinnnnn as in sin. Or amybe they are saying YES! "Si" en espańol Or maybe it's nothing

I think this argument will be as undecidable as "the wind cries Mary" debate.
