Yeah...rule of thumb: if you hear from sources that Pink Floyd will be touring soon, you can automatically discredit them in the future.

But there are fairly solid rumors of a solo Roger Waters tour coming in '05...

Welcome ... I highly doubt that Pink Floyd will tour again, ever. Although I guess it's possible. It would be more likely, however, for Roger to.

If they do tour again, pigs will....swim in the ocean! (considering Pink Floyd has already covered the flying problem...though they could perform on a giant pig boat, that'd be cool)

There must be some bad blood between Roger and the other guys. I wish they could stop this childish fighting, get together, and do everyone a favor by releasing a great album! Although, this may never happen.

I believe that Dave, Nick, & Richard would welcome Roger back w/ open arms. What I am saying is that I think Mr. Waters is the one holding the grudge(just a theory)

I seriously doubt that David or Richard would agree to join Roger, and also very much doubt Roger would likewise agree to join David or Richard in a studio or on stage.

Both Roger and David have publically expressed strong sentiments against such a suggestion, so the likelihood is rather slim.

Don't hope,
BoaB

"But if you survive til 2005, I hope you're exceedingly thin. For if you are stout you will have to breathe out while the people around you breathe in..."

Roger wrote that in 1968. Does this mean the non-fat members of Pink Floyd (ie, Rick, Nick and Roger) will reunite next year? And performe Breathe IN the Air? And Careful With That Axe Eugene ("hey Eugene, this is Henry McClean")?

Will monkeys, as predicted by Nostradamus, fly out of my ass?

Well, there is no hope for a Beatles reunion because two of them are dead.
The drummer from Zeppelin is dead

My point is, all five former members are still alive. They should recognize themselves as "one of the few" and get together. Maybe if someone could convince Roger and the other guys.

Read a few post-1984 interviews with Roger and Dave and you'll soon change your tune.

Syd Barrett has no interest in music anymore.

I know, it's a sad fact. The Floyd Machine will probably never play together again.

I am happy with the band never releasing an album again. Or touring as a band. Why would they. I am sure they are tired, I mean they have done it for such a long time and have children. If they aren't musically creative anymore why would I like to see them release an album of stuff that was not good for them. I don't think they need money ( just a hunch)

I hope that Gilmour and Waters keep Touring solo and that Pink Floyd never EVER attempts such lowly actions like the Eagles have with the Hell freezes over thing.......Greedy Bastards.

I know this is speculation, but I think they will re-form...for 2007...like some sort of Aniversary...I agree Roger is holding the grudge, but he's getting over it (or so he says in Uncut)...the problem is logistics cos like the show would probably be the biggest ever seen...if they did...I reckon it would be everything up to the final cut....I can't see Roger doing learning to fly......but they might just do a lot of early stuff...cos that was when they were wild....BUT...I reckon they would do a new album cos they have so much more to give now they are aging...and theoretically should be over the ego things....they probably could make their most important work now....
