Actually, neither "Across the Universe" nor "Hey Jude" featured much collaboration. They were both largely solo compositions by their lead singers (Lennon and McCartney respectively), the credit "Lennon/McCartney" was merely a formality. And I'd hardly call "Across the Universe" a very successful hit... the Beatles never issued it as a single.

Those are very minor points, though... the rest is pretty good.
