Talking Pink Floyd Remasters: With Bonus Tracks!!!!??

As the CD remaster/re-issue goes on, I thought to myself "Why didn't the Pink Floyd remasters have any bonus tracks?" Then I thought "Well inserting some extra tracks on the same disc might ruin the pink floyd experience." But what about a BONUS DISC of unreleased material and singles that come from that album's era? After some research on unreleased and special Floyd stuff, I've laid out a blueprint for how cool this would be: (Comments, questions, would-you-buy-it's welcome)

THE PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN: Bonus Disc
1. I’m a King Bee (cover of a song by Slim Harpo, demo 1966, previously unreleased)
2. Lucy Leave (demo, 1966 with Bob Close, previously unreleased)
3. Arnold Layne (single)
4. See Emily Play (single)
5. Candy and a Currant Bun (single)
6. Experiment/Sunshine (recorded for the album, previously unreleased)
7. Nick’s Boogie (single, 1967)
8. Stoned Alone/I Get Stoned (1966, previously unreleased
9. One in a Million/Rush in a Million/Brush Your Window (1967, previously unreleased)
10. Rooftop in a Thunderstorm Row Missing the Point (1967, previously unreleased)
11. She Was a Millionaire (1967, previously unreleased)
12. Apples and Oranges (single, 1967)

A SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS: Bonus Disc
1. Vegetable Man (intended as a single, previously unreleased)
2. Scream Thy Last Scream (previously unreleased)
3. Reaction in G (1967, previously unreleased)
4. Richard’s Rave-Up (1968, previously unreleased)
5. Keep Smiling People (1968, previously unreleased)
6. John Latham (1968, previously unreleased)
7. Biding My Time (single)
8. Point Me At the Sky (single)
9. It Would Be So Nice (single)
10. Paintbox (single)
11. Julia Dream (single)
12. Careful With That Axe, Eugene (single)

MORE: Bonus Disc
1. Seabirds (recorded for soundtrack, previously unreleased)
2. Hollywood (recorded for soundtrack, previously unreleased)
3. Bopping Sound (previously unreleased)
4. In the Beechwoods (previously unreleased)
5. Theme, Beat Version (previously unreleased)
6. Green is the Color (live)
7. Cymbaline (movie version with an alternate verse)

UMMAGUMMA: Bonus Disc
1. Embryo (outtake)
2. Moonhead/Trip On Mars (recorded for the UK airing of the 1969 moonlanding)

4. Daybreak (live version of “Grantchester Meadows,” from The Man & the Journey Suite, 1969)
5. Daybreak (instrumental version)
6. Beset By the Creatures of the Deep (live from The Man & The Journey Suite, 1969)

9. End of the Beginning (live from The Man & The Journey Suite, 1969)
10. Highway Song (1969, unreleased)

DARK SIDE OF THE MOON: Bonus Disc
1. Obscured by Clouds/When You’re In (played live as the intro to the Dark Side of the Moon piece, 1972)
2. The Violent Sequence (early version of “Us and Them,” intended but rejected for the “Zabriskie Point” soundtrack)
3. The Mortality Sequence (early version of “The Great Gig in the Sky”)

Unless I'm mistaking almost all of those first two disks are available on the 'Have You Got It Yet' Bootleg series, of which i have, 17 discs of (i think... i kind of lost track...). They are pretty lame sound quality though, I'd certainly love to hear the two main lost Syd tracks (Vegetable Man and Scream Thy Last Scream) in proper CD sound quality.

You can get all those tracks (and a whole lot more) on the Tree Full Of Secrets set (18 cds worth of rarities). I downloaded it ages ago but there's so much stuff in there I can't be arsed to listen to it.

Thank you. that made me feel fuzzy inside. Anyway my sources are a couple "Man and the Journey" bootlegs i have, and some basic internet research. The Pink Floyd Hyperbase, a fan-made list of all PF songs released/unreleased (i guess it's complete) etc. Then again some of it is common die-hard fan knowledge, like the Raving and Drooling/You gotta Be Crazy stuff, that kind of thing.

True, but this fantasy of mine is remastered and cleaned up by the great James Guthrie, and would be a better package than some downloads. but that's just me, since I like official packages. Never was a big download guy.

There's no way all that lot would ever surface as an official release.

Between this and our discussion on the "Rumors of 2003 Tour Put To Rest" thread, you're not a very optimistic fan are you? :P
Just kidding with you.

To be honest mate I'm not that arsed anymore, after such a long period of inactivity interest starts to wane.

That would be because I am English!

It means I don't give two shiny shites, not bothered, don't much care, can't be arsed.
