This really bothers me. B.I.T.A. to me is just insanely mesmerizing and I find it hard to believe that they would leave this song off their greatest hits album. It would be a great song to start off the CD. Am I the only one that's bothered by This?

well, they can't put EVERY song on there from DSotM. Its a good piece definately, should be played before TIME.

But not a greatest hit.

ARE THEY CRAZY ??!! Any Colour and Breathe (in that order) are the best songs in my life...EVER. This sucks big time. Anyways, I wouldn't buy it. I'm against this "Best of ..." you see.

You can't well put *every* Floyd song on there. And I doubt they contacted you and asked you which songs were very important to you or whatever. There are bound to be some omissions you don't agree with, and some inclusions you don't agree with. That's the way a "Best Of" goes. I personally think "The Narrow Way pt 3" should be on there, but I'm not holding my breath

That's the problem with best ofs.

I my opinion, you are best off making your own compilation. Cheaper too !

You could put all those songs on there. Just have it a triple CD set, or a quadruple, or...

Here's an idea for everyone, if ya wanna hear all the songs you love, buy every album. This is what is known as a collection. A compilation is the "best of". Everyone should just quit their bitchin' as to what is or isn't on the album. If you like Floyd enough, get both the collection and the compilation like i am.

I agree, people should buy all the albums.

Breathe and Any Colour are great!

But anyway, shouldn't this Topic be in the After Syd Barrett section ?

Thats the problem you get when you try to make a Best of for Floyd. I enjoy listening to the albums so much more. Atleast they put "happiest Days of our life" before "brink in the wall (part2)"

I think they actually did a respectable job. It's supposed to be an introduction to the band, not the only Floyd album you'll ever need, afterall.
