| Re: The Pink Floyd Keyboard Section (Revised) So, how much of the responsibility in concert is Mr. Carin's and how much of it is Mr. Wright's? Also, we were arguing about this in another thread, about Celestial Voices: someone says the singing on the ASoS (studio) version is a Mellotron synthesiser. I tend to disagree; it does not sound like that to me...it sounds like a real voice to me, dubbed several times. At the very least, I think ONE of the vocal tracks is real, because I hear a few notes that are ever so slightly goofed. If it IS a voice...do you think I could possibly be right on who I think it is? It doesn't sound like the Ummagumma version at all. Who do YOU think it is? And thank you very much for the permission to use the information you've given. _________________ "But now the day has broken, can see in better ways, A path leading to the light, a hope that never fades. | Re: The Pink Floyd Keyboard Section (Revised) Wrightkeys...I suppose you're talking about (in lead work) stuff like from SOYCD (the Minimoog) and the more "dominant" Hammond organ, correct? As for Celestial Voices--are you sure that's Mr. Gilmour? I think the timbre of the voice doesn't sound quite right for that. What if, perhaps, you were to compare it to the high harmonies on "See-Saw"? Sounds like Mr. Wright is on at least one vocal track to me. I could be wrong...but I really feel funny about saying it's DG, ESPECIALLY after hearing the Pompeii version.

| Re: The Pink Floyd Keyboard Section (Revised) Thank you, Wrightkeys, for taking the time to respond to this! Mr. Wright will be getting his due vocal credit on my site for this song today! I also plan to make the additions to the instrument section, because what you write is very clear and I think it would be worthwhile. You will also receive YOUR due credit for allowing me to use the info! ![]() BTW--do you have any idea what kind of synthesiser/keyboard setup Mr. Wright is using on Broken China? _________________ "But now the day has broken, can see in better ways, A path leading to the light, a hope that never fades. | Re: The Pink Floyd Keyboard Section (Revised) Wrightkeys, I've got a bit of a problem. I have a list that I got from another source, but I'm having some trouble reconciling the two lists. (Your second listing post.) Could you please come to my site and help me get it straightened out? Thanks! (Once I get the two lists reconciled, I plan to take the more detailed information you kicked this thread off with, and list that where appropriate.)
