Drowning the Whispers

a world filled with the sounds of our whispers
drowning out the sounds of reality
making the world a ball of lies
a home for our purest insanity

we create death
to fight our hatred
our jelousy of your life
and the bullshit we've been fed

we told you this day would come
the end of the world on a sunday
in the end we all get ours
and it does not matter how much you pray

trying to control our outer space
hiding behind military masks
without control of inner space
we lose it all because of foolish tasks

digging to the depths and flying to the stars
the rich go to jail for murder
we lay on the battlefield
marching no further

I stand alone in the battle
no gun in hand ready to die
understanding the real reason
looking back into your eye

I wait for the end with open arms
I wait for you in the end
I wait for the bullets to pierce my skin
I wait for my ultimate peace my friend
