From The Pink Floyd Encyclopedia: Cover art: An out of focus film still of a man in a tree. The man appears to be striving to reach a goal, while the blurred points of light are reminiscent of early Pink Floyd light shows. The 1996 remastered CD uses infra red landscapes, as suggested by Jon Crossland, and produced by Angus MacRae.

Be warned, karl, Apart from some nice reproduction gig poster prints in the middle, an unexciting, fact-filled reference book is all it really is. Surprising eh?

It isn't really something you read from start to finish. Well, I wouldn't. But if you're ever wondering who the person that said that is or what that cover is, it'll tell you.

I should think it probably does. Am at work presently and the book is at home so I will have to check later. Perhaps someone who has it to hand will be generous enough to share that information. Floyd on! Byron

The only thing it says in the Pink Floyd Encyclopedia about it is that in the musician listing, The Magupa Tribe is listed as the chant. That's it.

karl, The only information in PF Encyclopedia (PFE) about the chanting is that it was performed by The Magupa Tribe. Radiochair got that info out before me. On Google (www.google.com): Found a "Frank Magupa" having something to do with treating blindness in Africa. A book by Grahame C. Martin, Headhunter ( http://www.genesis.net.au/~gmartin/headhunter/ ) claims: These savage men live for murder and revenge. Their lives are dominated by fear, hatred and lust. Women are stolen, beaten and raped. Teenagers are put through cruel initiation rites. Children are kidnapped. Whole villages are massacred. And human heads are prized trophies ... Violence grows and spreads, until two Christians arrive. This book reads like a dramatic novel, but the characters are real - it is their story. Strangely enough, neither Google nor "Ask Jeeves" returned anything on Magupa other than Frank Magupa as mentioned earlier, and the only Papua New Guinean headhunters listed anywhere are the Dani (a grouping of several distinct tribes - perhaps the Magupa are among these, if not extinct), the Yali and the Asmat. "Curiouser and curiouser", said Alice. _______________ Just thought...you'd like to know.

I think Absolutaly Curtains vocals at the end is just a bunch of rubish, that has less meaning to it then what U expect from it. I think U have to watch the movie to understand. Now who here has seen the Movie?

Never seen the movie. I wonder how it is. As for the cover art, I didn't have any idea what it represents.
