| Re: Lyrical significances (San Tropez) Anyone know anything about the significance of the lyrics on San Tropez (Meddle)...I mean, I know Dave & Syd spent time over there, but Waters wrote those lyrics (perhaps he spent time there too, I dunno?) So I was just wondering, I mean "reach for a peach, slide a line down behind, a sofa in San Tropez" ...I guess my take on it would be just a simple reminiscing about bumming around in a simple paradise, just doing whatever... Anyone got an official take on those lyrics?

| Re: Lyrical significances (San Tropez) I'll need someone to confirm or deny this for me, but I do believe that some Floydians visited San Tropez. Part of me thinks they might've got into trouble there! But I'm not sure. If someone could help me here, I'd be most obliged.

| Re: Lyrical significances (San Tropez) San Tropez - "About a melancholy existence" Also for this song, Roger brought in the song fully completed for the others to learn. |

| Re: Lyrical significances (San Tropez) Wanna hear something odd? I heard a jazz band version of the song in Wendy's restuarant the other day. It really freaked me out. If anyone knows who redid the song, let me know. I really dug it.
