It IS a thoroughly enjoyable record. Not Floyd.

I'd say it is Floyd, but it's not Roger. And don't say that Rog was Floyd please...

Ok, lets say that Rog was 50% of Floyd and Dave, Nick and Rick were the other half, good that way?

No way. He was his own, full, 25%, exactly like the others.

Re: AMLOR, sound 80's to you?

Everyone thinks that when Pink Floyd changed leaders, it wasn't Pink Floyd anymore. If that's the case, than Syd's Floyd was the "real" Floyd. The original leader, and inventor of the name. When he was kicked out of the band, it all of the sudden was Roger's Floyd, and the "real" Floyd. But when Roger LEFT It was suddenly not Floyd anymore? This just isn't fair, folks.

Pink Floyd are a band. A small group of people huddled together on a stage.

Not Bob Ezrin, Tony Levin, Jim Keltner, Steve Forman, Jon Carin, Richard Wright, Tom Scott, Scott Page, Carmine Appice, Nick Mason, Pat Leonard, Bill Payne, Michael Landau, David Gilmour, John Halliwell, Darlene Koldenhaven, Carmen Twillie, Phyllis St. James, and Donnie Gerrard.

I like her. But she doesn't sing on the album. Her mother Vicki sang on the tour and Sam herself sang on the Division Bell tour. And her father Joe owned the studio where The Jokers Wild recorded their demos!

Let's hear it for Sam!

Oh yeah, I've also decided the 1992 issue of this album (the version included in Shine On) sounds better than the "anniversary" CD. The latter one is too loud, and has digital clipping all the way through.

Re: AMLOR, sound 80's to you?

I think that AMLOR just feels too dated nowadays, unlike nearly every other album PF released, which today is still listenable enough. For example....Dogs of War <shudder>.
