Is there any information on the date of the show?

Well I'd imagine so, seeing as they stopped playing it around 1970... matter of fact, that timeing (just over 13 minutes) sounds about right for the particular arrangement of IO they played on the 1970 tour.

Actually that exact length is from the May 1st recording in Santa Monica. Good show.

I heard it... it wasen't much of a cover. They just kinda played the riff a couple times to start the show... or that was the version that I heard.

I'd love to hear some of the 40 minute versions from 1966. But that's never going to happen.

I have version where they jam for 15:36 and one version that is 13:21 that`s a difference of only one second so it could be the same that you have. Mine is from Ultra Rare Trax Vol 1.

Re: Kicking It Into OVERDRIVE

That may be from the Interstellar Encore disc which is April 1, 1970. Great version and great roio, the full show with all encores in great sound! Dave sings the chorus on Grantchester Meadows and it sounds great, but the version of AHM i dont like as much as the 30 min version with the full orchestra in Montreux 71

In "inside out" i read Nick say that it would often go up to over 25 minutes, I'd love to hear a 25 minute version of IO!
