Pigs on the Wing (Part 1 or 2) Its just strumming and switching between easy chords, except for G, that me be a lil tough for a beginner.

If you meant to say Stratocaster, here's some easy electric riffs: Breathe Let there be more light The Nile Song (to get you in with the barre chords) I really can't think of any other easy Floyd riffs at the moment for electric...their acoustic stuff, I think, is way easier

Learn scales!! Best thing to learn, then you can just find out what key a solo is in, then figure it out yourself.

What matters mostly for learning guitar is how old are you. So, how old are you?

Judging by the fact that he said "wats" and "starcaster" Not too old...

I thought the original telecasters were called starcasters WAYYYYY back in the day. Correct me if I'm wrong.

3rd fret on the 1st string and letting the 2nd, 3rd & 4th strings ring open---or, playing the 6th string (3rd fret) with 5th string (2nd fret) and again letting 2nd 3rd & 4th strings ring open. The "Esquire" was the forerunner of the Tele. |

I was so sure they made one, I just checked it. I was wrong, they weren't before the tele, but they were made in the 70s and looked like les pauls. I found this picture:http://www.gfimusicalproducts.com/Im...Starcaster.jpg After a bit of peeking around, I've concluded that they are generally rare and expensive guitars. Supposedly they sound good too.

OK, they were Fender's "answer" to the Gibson ES series electric hollowbodies. Apparently, the demand for them was not there and they were discontinued. Probably worth something as a collector's item since they are fairly rare.

If you want to go really really easy, try The Gnome and Scarecrow. Simple songs. Once you start to get some of the basics daown, I'd try Astronomy Domine or Welcome to the Machine(even though it is quite simple as well. In my particular case, I made it sound better with ad-libs when I knew what I was doing.).
