Illegally downloading music

yeah so I'm illegally downloading all floyd's albums right now. But I think it's alright. And I'm going to buy them all eventually to finish my collection. I dont want to wait until I have money to buy them all though, that would be a waste of time. Right now I'm listening to echoes, and I could never figure out why everyone likes this so much...and now I'm listening to it, and it all makes sense, i get why you guys like this song so much. Cause it's amazing and awesome that's why. You think what I'm doing is illegal?

you actually had to think whether echoes was a good song or not? Im sorry to hear that. downloading music is pointless: wow, look at all this music i have, ill just sit at my computer all day and listen to it.

Hey, I listen to music on my computer all day. Though I don't see the positive connotation in that, it just shows I have no life.

It's shit, I think, I'd rather be official and have the booklet and nice-looking CD and all that, instead of a bad-sounding mp3 and some statistical infomation.

I understand the whole thing about the price of the CD (they are a bit expensive), but remember, you're paying a lot of money because, in essence, you're buying a direct copy of the master tape, that won't go bad with repeating listenings (like the LP or tape).

Yeah, the iTunes music store is a great concept, I think, but the whole concept of cover art is gone, and that can be half the album right there. What fun would Yes music be if you couldn't stare at the covers for hours on end? I just download music to preview it, and buy it later and experience it in it's full, almost uncompressed glory.

I believe in the free sharing of rare and live recordings, but one doesn't expect artwork with those things.

I said I am going to get the albums eventually cause you its way diff to have the booklet and cover art and stuff...just I have no money right now and I want to listen to it. And I didn't have to think if echoes was good, I had just never heard it before I downloaded it.

I think this is a DT...in fact i'm sure it is... (because I started the other one)

I like sampling bands with MP3's, but if I like the band, i'll buy the albums.

opps, sry bout that. I didn't check so I'm guilty as charged. I do that a lot of the time. It's much easier and nicer to just get the album cause you don't have to find all the songs and stuff.

To answer your question, CharadeYouAre, yes it is illegal what you're doing. Bad, BAD fan!

But who - that matters - really gives a ***k?
