Downloading Early Pink Floyd

Anyone know where i can download early pink floyd concerts, from 1967 to 1969. I mean videos. All i can find is flaming live, astronomy domine live, and this one concert in 1969, wheres there is a riot, and pink floyd plays Asos, Set the controls to the heart of the sun, and some song from the More album. Anyone know any other videos i can download. If u find anything with Barrett tell me.

Re: Downloading Early Pink Floyd

You might try Bit Torrent as well. Those files are usually very large though.

There are only a scarce few live videos of Syd in the band. A couple in particular you might want to look for on the above-mentioned sources:

1) Tonite Lets All Make Love in London - Syd's floyd in the studio performing Interstellar Overdrive and Nick's Boogie, interspersed with footage of a "happening" at UFO club

2) Look of the Week - the band performing Astronomy Domine and Pow R Toc H in front of some psychedelic projections, with syd waving his arms in the air

PROMO VIDEOS (the band lip-synching to studio recordings):

1) Arnold Layne - the famous black-and-white promo with the mannequin

2) Scarecrow - full-colour promo with syd & company in a field

3) See Emily Play - post-syd promo, roger playing cricket with his bass and nick pretending to play a non-existant drumkit while dave stands off to the side looking embarrassed

4) Apples and Oranges - two promos, one with Syd, one without him

5) Jugband Blues - jaw-dropping promo, the last footage of syd in the band

Re: Downloading Early Pink Floyd

The CD called "In London 1966-1967" (the collector's edition) has an extra CD with that Tonite Lets All Make Love in London video.

Don't download music. It's illegal and there's more than a plethora of viruses to be found.

Re: Downloading Early Pink Floyd

I suppose instead we could just pop round the corner and buy a DVD with all their unreleased promo videos... if it weren't lining the pockets of unscrupulous bootleggers.

actually, these people aren't downloading music which artists are making money from. They are downloading unreleased video which no one is making shit from and should be shared with everyone interested in the early pink floyd for free. Also most of the film is in horrible condition and just wouldn't be worth buying if it was released on DVD or VHS unless they were charging 50p

Re: Downloading Early Pink Floyd

That doesn't make them any more legal to download. But you know, I've never once gotten a virus from a downloaded bootleg.
