I have to say it

man, im so pissed, ever since i saw the top 100 greatest rock bands on vh1. Pink Floyd came 15, wat the hell!!!!!!!, no offense to other bands, but how the hell can Van Halen,Nirvana,Aerosmith,Kiss,The Who, Guns n roses, and some other bands be considered better than floyd. ahhhhhhhhh. those losers just play a couple of chords. pink floyd thinks songs out, perfects them, and makes like 5 extremely great studio albums, and not to mention the others. and wat the hell do they get # 15. wat the hellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

i dont think any of those bands are better than floyd, but it wasnt us who made that list, now was it? o well. as long as I know pink floyd is the best, thats all that matters.

Any list of anything will always be subjective so who cares.

Depends on who is making the list, if it was mtv, the list would have more recent bands. The demographic they're trying hit is more important than the actual list. Same shiite different day.

Only 5 albums, huh. At least ten come to my mind.

I have to admit, no one will really appreciates Floyd quite as much as they should. I love Nirvana, The Who, and Guns n' Roses, but when it comes to Floyd they're not quite up to par, Considering the years between "Dark Side" and "The Wall" no other band should be able to touch them, well except for The Beatles.

Was one of the "better" bands on that list The Beatles?

I am thinking that they might have been, but that's only because they were at the head of the musical revolution, along with some political and social ones, during their time. But that is only because they were the right band, and people, for that time.

Floyd is the best. The beatles deserve to be up there, I like the who, the rest of the bands are good...but Pink Floyd is the best. No thinking needs to be done...the question is who's the best, and the answer is Pink Floyd, done, finished, over, decided. That is the bottom line.
