For some reason, unknown to me, I highly doubt that.

Re: Psychedelic Space Rock of Today

I listened to some Psychadelic Space rock just today, it was some band, Pink Floyd, I believe; the album was 'Piper at the Gates of Dawn'.

Very psychadelic, and pretty far out there.

NO way I think of them as a mixture of old skool speed metal like Slayer or Metallica with some insantity in there

Re: Psychedelic Space Rock of Today

it still lives...........somewhere.
Im also still looking
Ive been having better luck with continental Europe, Sweden having the most results. Acid Mother's Temple had one or two "interesting" tracks that might spark your attention also. Also certain "Working for a Nuclear Free City" tracks stand up as ones worth the look, just gotta go through 'em. A local Irish band Twin Kranes try and incorporate Hawkwind style effects into their spacey psych music. Personally I love Barret era Floyd rip offs, if you do too, check out a song called Mr. Layne by Las Vegas Basement.
