Someone told me the closet thing to Floyd these days is Radiohead and not all of their stuff. I have still not listened to much of them. ColdPlay I find similar to later Floyd

as for super spaceadelica not sure

P.S. I think I might start calling you Papa Smurf. You're one of the elders around here.

two great phychedelic space bands of today would have to be Mandra Gora Lightshow Society, and Datura, i'd strongly recomend them, they're worth atleast giving a listen to. hope you enjoy.

You should also check out the Secret Machines, they're psychedelic with some twinges of 70s German krautrock. They've got some free live stuff on mtv.com, but they're too good for MTV.

The Secret Machines are cool, and they do remind me of Pink Floyd. Little bit.

Would System of a Down be considered a psychedelic or space rock band?

The Detholz! aren't very psychedelic, but they've got the space rock thing down.

You now inhabit what I like to call post-teenage wasteland, I've been here long enough to know the rent sucks and tha neighbors are loud.

It's a wonderful place.
