Talking sorry this may be a repeat

but i'm new and i just wanted to know what the status is of the solo albums. I hear Roger will be at least another year, but where is the long overdue Dave album? Is it true that both his and Rick's are still slated for the next few months? what is known about these albums track and theme wise ( i really want Smile to be on Dave's)? also, is there any news on a tour following these albums?
Thanks

Re: sorry this may be a repeat

Roger's new rock album might be out as early as next year, after he releases his already-finished opera Ca Ira. About 13 minutes of the latter work were premiered earlier this year during the EU expansion celebrations (with a pretty spectacular fireworks show accompanying), and I must say it's quite impressive. Also, two brand new songs, "Leaving Beirut" and "To Kill the Child" which may or may not end up on Roger's new rock album are also being released as online purchases, so you should be able to download them fairly soon. He has set aside 9 months next year for another tour.

As for Dave, his guitar work has been popping up on new albums by Alan Parsons and Phil Manzanera. His own solo album is close to completion but there is no telling when he might get around to finishing it/putting it out/touring for it.

Rick's solo projects are considerably less further along. Hope that helps.

What else would they do? Sure, Nick's got his sweet race cars, but David's got just his guitar and Rog has his cranky demeanor.
