| Re: fathers of trip hop Thanx for the compliment! The answer should be a stick coated in tar. Then it would be sticky.

| Re: fathers of trip hop I've been listening to a lot of trip hop lately. Portishead is the best band on that genre, IMHO. Their DVD is awesome, it's currently on my "to acquire, as soon as I have the $ to" list. I'd definately recommend Morcheeba, Massive Attack and Tricky as well. Other good bands include Lamb and Thievery Corporation. Glad to hear other floydians like trip hop too...

Not neccessarily - a stick is sticky because it is a stick not because it is sticky. |

| Re: fathers of trip hop I occasionally listen to Morcheeba, they're quite good, entertaining I'd say... I am pretty sure their guitarist knows and loves BDG's work.

| Re: fathers of trip hop Massive Attack's Teardrop is brilliant. I love it. I've heard Lamb as well but they don't seem to be in the music press much these days. I remember the first song of Lamb I ever heard- wierd. The video was pretty odd too.
