I don't consider them psychadelic rock.. they are the definition of psychadelic rock.

Well seeing how "PATGOD" is seen as the greatest psychadelic album ever put together, I would definatly except it as psychadelia. "ASOS" as well, "More" was but also dabbled in rock and some kind of early folk styles. Ummagumma is psychadelic mostly because of "Sysyphus" and "Several Species". I would not consider "Meddle" psychadelic but rather diverse in sound, but "Echoes" on the other hand reflects their London Roots.

I hear many people enjoy those albums while chemically enhanced (not that they need to be) so I assume that they're psychedelic. More, Ummagumma, and Meddle still stick a lot to psychedelia, but each album gets a bit more rock-oriented, until by OBC it's rather rock oriented, but still with hints of the noodly exploration from before.

It seems that after Ummagumma, there wasn't as much psychadelica in their latter music. Atm Hrt Mthr psychadelic??? Come on, the only connection between the two is the song 'Alan's Psychadelic Breakfast', and that's not very psychadelicaish now, is it.

No, no, I believe Floyd left their psychadelic element back in the 60's w/ Syd.

With the album More, there is a late 60's feel to it, you know what I mean. There are many psychadelic elements in the album, but this is pretty much where they said goodbye.

Listen to More-1969, then listen to Atm Hrt Mthr, released only a year later in 1970. In my opinion, these two albums couldn't sound much more different from eachother than they already do.

Once you get More, you'll know what I'm talking about
