Well I did co-write and co-direct and co-produce an original musical comedy for my senior year of high school:

Well, it's basically a hilarious send-up of film noir/detective novel cliches, wrought in our own particular idiom of sophomoric comedy with a few rollicking musical numbers thrown in for good measure. An excerpt:

VERONICA SLAKE (heavy Brooklyn accent): Mr. President, I would never marry you! Not if you were the last man on earth.
DICK PRESIDENT, PRIVATE EYE: Ah, but what if I was the last man on "oith", and had cheese?
VS: Cheese?
DP: Yup.
VS: What if you were the last man on earth, and had cheese.
DP: That's right.
VS: Do I have cheese?
DP: No.
VS: So I either have to forsake cheese forever, or be with you.
DP: Uh-huh.
VS: (long, contemplative pause) ...still no! Your chances, Mr. President, are about one in a hundred million billion!
DP: Ah-hah! So I'm still in the game!

Influences: The Maltese Falcon, Chicago, The Producers, Urinetown
