Oooh...Prada bags at dawn? I like the sound of that...You and I may get along just fine, BoaB!

Those who know me very well may understand that a little better than others of course...(QAF, anyone??)

not to mention certain impure thoughts I had about...oh, never mind...

Anyway...David is just lovely still, but circa 1970 or so...Oooh, my goodness... LOL
Even my mother had to admit that he was prettier than most women can ever dream of being.

And GilmourWhoredom is an all-encompassing pastime, after all. I'm finding it rather consuming at the moment...but yes, it IS possible that there are others out there even more devoted to the lovely BDG (Beloved David Gilmour, of course) than I, but I claim the title in the sense of being utterly devoted to all aspects of him.

But at least I'm not obsessed...I'm focused...

Cheers!

(still holding on to the title for now...)

Oh, and are you going to the show, BoaB? Perhaps we can meet up, Prada bags and all for a pre-show drink? LOL

Don't worry, GeeDub, if it comes down to a title fight, I'll stand with my fearless leader!

GW#1,

I shall indeed - the Almighty willing, of course - be at David's gig in January - and Roger's in June - but as far as the Prada bags go, I just cannot find one that goes with my Harley biker's ensemble. VROOM VROOM!

Does Prada do a long strapped, toughened leather black one?

I still claim supremacy in GilmourWhoredom as I may be the only man to admit to such a state. So, I suppose that makes me GW#001. How's that?

FW: Your loyalty, however misguided, is refreshing.

Sorry, you're not the only man. We already have a couple on the official roll!

I think you're just jealous of us!

Hey ho.

Jealousy is not an emotion in which I generally indulge. No point.

Floyd on!

Im surprised nobody has mentioned this before, but David Gilmour was a male model b4 joing the Jokers' Wild and Pink Floyd. I also have a hilarious site about roger Waters. I love him and his genius but it is too funny to pass up. http://www.ingsoc.com/waters/humour/rwdiary.html

I've always loved the Roger Waters diaries! I laughed myself silly the first time that I saw it. In fact, I darn near peed myself...oops, is that too much information? No matter...

Someone did some for David, too, and they were quite amusing as well, but the Roger ones were the best.

And as for David being a model...It does seem a natural, doesn't it? but then it brings to mind the question of why he doesn't talk about it now. He's very close-mouthed about that period of his life, isn't he?

When I first put up my site, I had a poll asking why people thought David was reluctant to talk about his "modeling" career. The overwhelming majority thought that perhaps the modeling was of questionable integrity, if you get my meaning. Granted, it was all a larf, but still...

Oh, sorry, I drifted away on the possibilities there, for a moment. I think I'll do that again...sigh...

LOL

I'd have to say Gilmour and Wright are the best-looking. Mason looks OK I guess but Rog is definitely not the most attractive guy in the Universe. Always looks a bit strained and worried if you ask me.

Loupgaros...interestingly, I think Mr. Waters actually aged quite well, and is now the second-most handsome Floydian (second to Mr. Wright). You almost wouldn't recognise him now, to look at early pictures.

I agree with FloydWright about Rick & Rog: they both aged very well... and there's something else they have, well, they used to have in common (this is entirely based upon the pompei video): back in the early 70's they used to look quite alright... as long as they kept their mouths shut: they both had rather unwatchable teeth! Actually, rick used to have the most rotten teeth, while rog's were just out of proportion, really. But I'm not really getting all this madness about Dave's presumed handsomness... he's always been a fat bastard and his hair used to look dirty and greasy
