Hey--InTheFlesh?---I owe you an apology...I thought you had smoked a little too much rope when you said you thought Roger was "hot". I just saw the picture of him the Rolling Stone mag, and I have to admit, he looks damn good. (don't take that wrong---I ain't no Nancy-boy)

Stratman, there's no reason you shouldn't have the freedom to comment if you think someone looks good--even if they're a man. Women comment on the looks of other women all the time. It doesn't have to mean anything--no different than commenting on a good painting or other visual art.

And yes, Mr. Waters does look pretty nice in his most recent pics. A smile makes a huge difference, doesn't it? (Seriously, don't you notice that in people?)

Of course. Yes, I agree---a smile lights up anyone's countenance. It's also true that (subjectively) a person's personality has much to do with their perceived "looks". i.e., a man or woman who looks attractive at first glance can end up looking "ugly" to you if they turn out to be a jerk, and someone who at first looks plain or homely will end up looking attractive to you if you love them. At least that's a tendency. Maybe Roger is looking much better to everyone nowadays because he is becoming a little warmer.

That's kind of what I think.

And I also think that, like a puppy who must grow into his paws (ever seen a little Labrador puppy?), Mr. Waters has grown into some of his features, and they now suit him well.

That and the smile make all the difference.

or...wait! For an RW smilie...

Oh, I knew you guys would understand my obsession with Roger! I just love his looks, especially when he was young. And now that he's older, he still gets my motor running. My mother and my friends just don't seem to get it... well too bad for them!

I wanted to see if it was possible to add a poll on to a pre-existing thread that does not already have one...

Unfortunately it seems like there's no way to do it.

Has anyone else noticed the resembalance between Mr Waters and Richard Geere on the "In The Flesh" video????

My personal pick for best looking amongst the Floidan tribe would have to be...........Bob Ezrin......

Some people do say Mr. Waters looks like Richard Gere now. I think there is some resemblance, although it isn't a complete look-alike.

i think the whole Richard Gere incidence stems from the greying hair.

And I'd have to say, in the early seventies, Dave was a pretty good looking guy. Then he got fat. I think Nick had the best looking beard of the lot, but then he shaved it off and got fat, too. I liked Rog with longer hair, though he wasn't terribly stunning, he's not that bad these days. And Rick, well, he looked with the rest in the seventies, and hasn't changed much. Oh, and they all had funny haircuts in the eighties, but i guess that's to be expected.

And Syd was a looker, as much as I can mean that in a non homosexual way. Though now he is, ultimately, fat and bald.
