does anyone know how pink floyd did their early psychedelic light shows with the slides and the ink that was projected onto them while they were playing. please be as specific as you want.

they all just had flashlights and just waved them around frantically. nick mason used to drum with one of those maglite flashlights with colored seran wrap around it. twas awesome, you had to be there.

Don't know if you're still interested, but another thing they used was some ink, of various colours, trapped between two glass panels, all placed right in front of the projector. The heat coming from the projector would gradually get to the ink and make it pop in bubbles which became rather big and spectacular when projected onto the band and the projection screen.

Read Nick Shaffner's book, if I remember correctly, he goes a wee bit into what they did.

No thorin, they were two smal glass panels (dunno exaclty, I figure they might have been the size of an LP cover), but the projection of course looked way larger, I mean, you know how projectors work...
